Miraflores, Peru

I just got back from an amazing spring break trip visiting a friend (Mary) in Peru! Peru is a photographers heaven with so much untouched, beautiful land.  I couldn't resist taking photos of everything I saw.  Here are some pictures I took from Miraflores in Lima, Peru.  To be perfectly honest Lima was my least favorite city we visited on the trip but it did have a beautiful little town (Miraflores) that runs along the coast. We spend the last two days of the trip walking along the coast, relaxing, biking and soaking up the sun before heading back to snowy Philadelphia.  We found the cutest little tree house cafe (BuenaVista) along the coast with the most delicious fruit drinks, salads, and cappuccinos!  It is was a perfect way to end an exhausting trip of hiking, sand boarding and long overnight bus rides. 

Snow Bunny

Snow day with little B! Erin bundled him up like a marshmallow and we took him out for a little fun in the snow.  Although it was a bit too cold to play in the snow I was able to capture a few good shots.  Little B's nickname is "nature boy" so he was  loving every second of being in the winter wonderland.  We can't wait to take him sledding when it doesn't feel like we live in Antarctica!

Snowball

Amy had her winter snowball dance this weekend! I always love a good occasion to help her become a glamour girl for the night!  And also a great excuse for a photo shoot. We went shopping for a fancy dress, experimented with a new hairstyle, and pulled out all of our makeup. It was a success!

Kisses for Sale

Erin likes to send out picture cards to family members for each holiday so we created a little love scene in the living room.  We rummaged through our old stuffed animals and found this tiny vest on a build-a-bear haha! It fit just right.  Little B is our little love bug <3 So far I am loving my Nikon d5200 but it's taking me some time to figure out how to use it.

Nova Nation

Exciting news...I finally got my first dslr camera!  The Nikon d5200!!  Luckily little B was in town for the weekend so I got to test out my new camera with my favorite little man.  Little B's dad went to Villanova so I surprised him with these cute photos!

Winter Wonderland

We had our first snow fall of the season and it was breathtaking.  I could not pass up the opportunity to capture the fresh snowfall.  Amy, ever-so-kindly, was my beautiful model for this winter wonderland photo shoot.
